A house with an interesting “bonus” area has landed on the real estate market in Celina, Ohio, for $275,000.
The four-bedroom, five-bedroom home has a great deal of space with 6,467 square feet and a gaggle of amenities suitable for an entertainer’s lifestyle including a full bar and an indoor pool. The only thing is, there’s one part of the house the listing on Zillow.com fails to mention….
A jail cell.
Judging by the photos, it’s clearly a holding cell of sorts complete with two bunks.
Sure, it might be used as a talking piece during a party, but it’s strange that the listing would leave it out — at least that’s what fans of the popular real estate Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild think.
“Client; I need a home that fulfills my roller rink dreams. Plus I need jail cells,” one person joked. “Builder; Got it.”
“It’s hideous and confusing and would be impossible to furnish in an (aesthetically) pleasing way,” another said.
“Okay but this hits on every personality I have so I’m on board,” someone commented. “And the jail? Pfft… I get to be a rescue shelter for pets now. Boom.”
“For that price sign me up,” one person said. “I could use the cells as a giant dog crate when people come over so my Saint Bernard doesn’t knock them down.”
“I typically know what my questions are from these listings….and here I am just speechless,” another commented.
“I kind of love it! The kitchen needs some love, but it’s kind of cool!!!” someone said.
“This is definitely one of the weirdest houses I’ve seen on this page,” one person observed. “I need an explanation!”
“This place is fire. I love it and the price is fantastic,” another gushed.
Celina is about 79 miles northwest of Dayton.
